Job Summary:
As an Employee Relations / HR Manager you will interact and collaborate with the site leaders and team members. You’ll apply your skills and abilities to support human resources programs and processes that build sustainable business operations. You will also be responsible for managing employee relations situations and investigations. This is a full-time role based in New Hampshire.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Identifies and analyzes employee relations situations and provides recommendations for resolution.
Manages key HR Operational Process (including benefits enrollment, handbook and policy changes etc.)
Provide support and guidance on the full life cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
Oversee offboarding, including separation paperwork, exit interviews and final pay
Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities and expectations
Build out/further develop a compensation strategy based on market research and pay surveys
Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution
Ensure the company’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Develop a dynamic strategy to keep employees motivated and engaged
Identify and drive process improvement efforts, leveraging systems and tools to automate and eliminate manual work where possible.
Contribute to authoring and editing of internal communications
Required Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrates a clear understanding of legal compliance and applicable workplace polices and practices
Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations
High ethical standards with demonstrated experience handling highly sensitive and confidential information.
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
People-centric professional with excellent attention to detail.
Client service mindset with the desire to go above and beyond to support the team and organization
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Experience with human resources information systems (HRIS)
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in in human resources or a related field and 5 years of human resource experience; or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
