JOB DUTIES

• Prepares, enters payroll in to third party system. Logs all reimbursements and enter 401K in third party system.
• Prepares project related invoicing for all projects
• Process all accounts payable activity ensuring transactions are processed timely and accurately; initiating all payments both electronically and with checks; credit card transaction processing for credit card holders
• Assist in month end close activities including the preparation of journal entries and labor reports and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain accurate vendors records including adding/changing/purging vendor record and preparing
• Distributing 1099s and filings with IRS Answering telephones, monitoring security entry, filing and handling routing correspondence with clients.
• Respond timely to inquiries from vendors, customers, or employees and researches and resolves concerns or discrepancies
• * Review credit card statements and match them with appropriate receipts
• Assist in month end/quarterly/year end close process and reporting
• Assist with the process improvement for the accounting department’s commitment to going paperless.
• Records daily deposits and reconciles to the bank.
• Reviews and posts daily bank transactions
• Performing Administrative Duties and other duties as required.

Proficient in small business software including QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.

Previous experience in Construction or Engineering is preferred.

EDUCATION:

An bachelor degree in accounting and finance with 5 years’ experience or associate degree in accounting or finance with or hire in a related field and/or 5 years of experience in Accounting is desired.
