Full time Looking for SENIOR SYSTEMS CONTROL ENGINEER – Immediately Hiring Full Time

• Develop conceptual and detailed controls designs, codes, and tests for semi-automated and fully automated industrial processing workstations.
• Create PLC logic and electrical schematic designs, incorporating system operation, motion control, laser programming and control, machine vision, data collection, file management, human-machine interfaces (HMI), SCADA, OPC, UA, and networking capabilities.
• Produce structured, reusable low-level motion control system code for various motion systems.
• Ensure manufacturing floor automation connectivity through LAN, OPC UA, databases, and other standard interfaces.
• Code for multiple PLCs, such as Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Sick, and Pilz.
• Provide support for system acceptance testing conducted by project managers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project engineering, supporting new logic, interfaces, and controls.
• Prepare requirements and functionality documentation for control modules.
• Develop project plans and schedules, reporting on progress, demonstrations, and changes.
• Contribute to software development management, analyzing and recommending improvements to control development methodologies.

Position Requirements:

• Proficient in controls design tools and environments, including OPC UA, Rs Logix, CP One, Ethernet IP, and others.
• Current experience in RS Logix and PointIO is required, with a strong fundamental background in controls engineering.
• Design with a focus on long-term support and modification, utilizing object-oriented design and analysis.
• Familiarity with professional software design and documentation control methodologies.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This role does not entail supervisory responsibilities.Education & Experience:

• A four-year degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Seven years or more of experience in designing custom motion control and HMI software.
• Three years or more of experience in designing custom machine vision applications.
