FTS Inc Hiring for Sr. Benefits Analyst Job at Syracuse, NY Full Time

We are currently partnered with a nationwide organization that is seeking to add an sr. benefits analyst to their team! This role is hybrid, works in a team setting, and allows autonomy of work.

• Oversee and perform, as necessary, other operation and technical aspects of employee benefit programs.
• Act as the primary liaison for outside vendors regarding the resolution of claims and billing issues, renewals, and other matters of importance.
• Assist staff and other departments in problem resolution of a variety of benefits related issues.
• Research and resolve high level employee concerns and questions as they relate to benefits.
• Provide plan interpretation and benefit education to all levels of employees and departments.
• Oversee compliance in all aspects of the Savings Plan to include the administration of the plan and regulatory compliance.
• Administer the 401(k)-company contribution and ensure it is correctly credited to eligible employees’ accounts.
• Administer the Deferred Compensation plan including enrollments, terminations and payouts.
• Oversee compliance with the Affordable Care Act.
• Conduct new hire orientation for all corporate office staff.
• Must stay current of trends surrounding benefit plan design to ensure a competitive benefits posture in the industry.
• Responsible for compliance of benefit plans with Federal and State regulations.
• Participate in Acquisition meetings as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Education:

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

• Benefits administration: 4 years (Preferred)
• 401k Administration: 4 years (Preferred)
• Compliance management: 4 years (Preferred)
