IT Programmer Analyst
Frostburg State University, Office of Information Technology seeks applications for exempt full-time IT Programmer Analysts. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes robust University System of Maryland benefits package.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Applications and Development, the IT Programmer Analyst provides system support for the Administrative Software Systems of the university. The position will assist with the development, configuration, administration, upgrade, and integration of applications within the university’s ERP and Data portfolios. This position will ensure compliance with all USM and FSU policy and procedure as well as any audit requirements. Other work-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. Basic understanding of enterprise software applications, SQL, and data reporting. Experience with one or more programming/scripting languages.
Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience serving in a developer or analyst role in Workday and/or PeopleSoft ERP environments. Training and/or experience with data integrations and iPaaS solutions. Previous experience developing/supporting applications on-premise and in the cloud.
