FORVIS Hiring for IFS – Human Resources – Manager – Talent Performance Development and Engagement at Charlotte, NC  Full Time

The Performance Development and Engagement Manager works in collaboration with various HR teams to plan, implement, and track HR strategies and programs related to employee performance management, engagement, feedback and coaching. This position is also responsible for identifying key insights related to program utilization, outcomes, and process improvements.

How you will contribute:

• Oversee and maintain employee performance management and employee engagement processes, tools, and systems
• Manage and execute performance reviews with a mentality of continuous improvement
• Assist in the development of a performance management strategy
• Communication skills to ensure our team members are set up for success in developing their performance.
• Identify training needs and development opportunities based on performance gaps
• Proactively seeks and gathers feedback from the Firm and provides recommendations based on firm feedback, processes, and procedures related to performance
• Manage all ongoing Performance Development processes, including Talent Reviews (Calibration) and Career Conversations, to ensure timely delivery and execution. Manage firmwide communications regarding processes, coordinating with the HRBP (HR Business Partner) team. Partner with the HRIS team on timelines, system upgrades, and enhancements.
• Serve as a champion of the continuing implementation of the Performance Development process, including monitoring usage, devising a strategy to encourage career discussions, use of the firm’s feedback tools, and other pillars of the system.

Performance Development and Engagement:

• Plans, implements, manages, and supports talent development and engagement programs related to performance management, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and other talent development and ‘voice of employee’ strategies.
• Manages coaching and feedback tools. Creates training, resources, and reports for the HRBP team, employees, partners/managing directors, managing partners, and firm leaders.
• Plans, implements, manages, and supports programs that build an engaged and enabled workforce, including managing the firm’s engagement and pulse surveys, and the reporting process that goes along with those surveys.

Team Partnerships:

• Works directly with the HRBP team to coach and train on the firm’s talent development programs.
• Reviews and shares feedback regarding how the Practice Units are utilizing the firm’s talent development programs.
• Provides direct support to the team as needed/requested.
• Partners with Talent Delivery team on learning opportunities, insights, and resources
• Seeks out feedback from various teams across the firm to provide innovative solutions and tackle challenges

HR Strategy:

• Benchmarks, research, and analyzes applicable trends and provides recommendations.
• Finds innovative ways to support freedom within a framework approach to performance management at FORVIS (employees are in the driver’s seat of their career)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate additional experience required (HR or similar is preferred)
• 5 years or more of professional work experience is required (professional services experience preferred)
• 1 year or more of experience in program development, implementation and/or management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong Excel skills and data analysis experience
