We are seeking a Community Coordinator who will be responsible for providing outreach and connecting with the community to ensure that CTI programs and services reach those who need them the most.
$22.00 – $26.00 hourly

Responsibilities include:
Outreach and Engagement: Under the guidance of Marketing, execute outreach initiatives, showcasing the value of our programs. Develop a comprehensive database of community contacts and track outreach activities, ensuring our services reach those who need them most.
Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain partnerships with human service providers, advocacy groups, and organizations that share our vision. Through these relationships, you will amplify the impact of Community Teamwork’s services and advocate for underserved communities.
Outreach Planning: Collaborate with our Chief Planning and Development Officer and Director of Communications and Marketing to design and implement annual outreach plans. Report on plan progress monthly.
Volunteer Management: Work with agency programs and administrative departments to evaluate the need for community volunteers, recruit needed volunteers, design and implement volunteer orientation, and work with staff volunteer supervisors to ensure a positive experience for both volunteers and agency staff.
Community Representation: Represent and coordinate internal resources for Community Teamwork at resource fairs, workshops, and public forums. Deliver impactful presentations that convey our organization’s mission and values, driving engagement and support.
Resourceful Advocacy: Distribute informative marketing and communication materials to local agencies and advocacy groups. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining a consistent and powerful presence in the community.
Fundraising Assistance: Assist Director of Development as needed, in planning and staffing agency events that fuel our fundraising efforts. Your participation will directly contribute to the financial sustainability of our impactful programs.
Donor Management: Assist Director of Development with data entry and acknowledgment processes to ensure our donors feel the appreciation they deserve. Your attention to detail and genuine care will strengthen our donor relationships.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support (e.g. supply ordering, meeting scheduling, taking meeting minutes, assisting with mailings) to department directors.
Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
One year previous experience in community or health and human service work desirable.
Ability to work effectively with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, cultures, and identities, including underserved communities.

Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate’s degree preferred.

Organizational Skills: Approach your work with precision and organization, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills along with good presentation skills.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in basic computer software and data collection systems is essential to streamline our operations.
Multilingual Advantage: Bilingual proficiency in languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Khmer, Haitian Creole, or Arabic will allow you to connect on a deeper level with a broader range of community members.
Mobility: Access to dependable transportation is a must, enabling you to connect with local agencies, advocacy groups, and clients.
Flexibility: Regular evening and weekend availability is required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
