This position is in the Florida Center for Reading Research.
Responsibilities
This position will coordinate recruitment of families into the project and coordinate data collection with those families. This includes hiring on the ground recruitment staff, training them, and troubleshooting issues. Coordinate full data management cycle. This includes mailings and data entry. Train all staff who will help manage all aspects of data. Create data entry screens. Coordinate between project sites. Maintain active IRB protocols. Manage participant payments. Maintain supply of gift cards, keep track of participant payments, send out participant payments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: post high-school education and/or experience may substitute at a comparable rate.)
Ability to demonstrate effective customer service.
Ability to gather, interpret, report, and/or edit information.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Ability to perform accurately in a detail oriented environment.
Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices. Knowledge of office practices, procedures, and etiquette.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Anticipated Salary Range
The starting salary for this position will be based on the selected candidate’s education level and years of experience and will align with other positions at the University.

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
Work will be performed on the FSU main campus in the Psychology building. This position is 30 hours/week and is eligible for benefits. Scheduled hours will be 9:30am – 4:00pm Monday – Thursday and 9:30am – 1:30 pm on Friday.
