The Sr. Systems Auditor is a member of the Internal Audit department who focuses primarily on information technology risk. As an individual contributor, the candidate will assist the Systems Audit management team in conducting IT risk audits including analysis of application, OS, and DB security; internal security architecture; vulnerability process; data privacy and other supporting IT processes. The Sr Systems Auditor is responsible for leading various aspects of the project lifecycle for assigned audit engagements, to include preliminaryrisk assessmentand related technical research,project management, analysisof key risks and controls in related processes, control test program development and execution, resultsreporting, and tracking of relevant issue remediation activities. This role is key in advising audit management, promoting an effective IT control environment, impacting positive organizational change.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
* Support the risk analysis function through the information-gathering process, assessment of supporting technologies, and development of the audit program. Collaborate with Audit team management regarding audit program development.
* Perform research on technologies included in the scope of audits, identifying assessment focus areas based upon risk analysis.
* Execute key control testing through detailed analysis of various technical environments including operation systems, databases, network components and devices, and the related IT processes to manage those environments.
* Communicate with audit stakeholders regarding audit process and activities, artifact request management, risks, and audit results. Track auditee remediation plans adopted to mitigate significant risks.
What Is REQUIRED?
* 3+ years related work experience to include technology audit experience or related technical controls experienceOR 2+ years of Big 4 experience (Deloitte, PwC, Ernst & Young or KPMG).From the 3+ years or related work experience or equivalent combination at least one year of Audit experience is required.
* Related bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
* Experience in auditing, administering and/or performing other risk assessment functions for a variety of technical platforms, such as operating systems, databases, networks, firewall systems, web services and/or cloud services
* Experience documenting key processes, risks, control objectives and controls in narrative and process flow format
* Experience in testing of IT general controls, IT application controls, systems conversions and/or upgrades
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work towards the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation
What is PREFERRED?
* Bachelor’s degree Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
* Experience in performing detailed risks assessment or auditing the following systems/environments: Red Hat Enterprise Linux, AIX Unix, Windows Server, Windows Active Directory, Red Hat Openshift, z/OS, DB2 DB, Oracle DB, MongoDB, PostgresDB, network appliances.
* Experience in a payer and/or healthcare provider or related supporting organization environment, including HIPAA and compliance relative to protected health information (PHI) / personally identifiable information (PII).
* Basic working knowledge of applicable regulatory and/or control frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 1, SOC 2, Model Audit Rule)
Preferred Licenses and Certifications
* CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
* CISA – Certified Information Systems Auditor

Annualized Salary Range:$78,800 – $128,100
Typical Annualized Hiring Range:$78,800 – $98,500
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
