WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Lead US Indirect Tax team
Oversee and work with outside advisers on preparation of returns related to sales and use tax, property tax and select foreign indirect returns.
Provide advice and guidance relating to sales and use tax and property taxes.
Research and determine taxability of products and services.
Oversee the reconciliation of indirect tax related accounts.
Review and compute any reserves for indirect taxes.
Ensure indirect tax engines are working properly.
Lead indirect tax audits with the assistance of outside advisors.
Monitor and analyze existing and proposed indirect tax legislation.
Assist with indirect tax matters on M&A and other ad hoc projects.
Assist with indirect tax systems implementations and automation.
Develop, document, and maintain SOX compliance for indirect taxes.
THE EXPERIENCE THAT YOU WILL BRING
5+ years’ prior experience in supporting a senior executive or team is required.
Impeccable Interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
Possess a professional demeanor.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Microsoft Teams, Adobe Acrobat, and social media web platforms.
Ability to communicate with impact.
Role modelling and championing Worldpay values
Have a passion for cultivating innovation and developing a strategic vision.
Strong ability to accelerate results amidst ambiguity.
Prior event coordination.
Ability to maintain composure during high stress situations.
Excellent Time Management skills.
