Responsible for supporting the AVP of Finance and VP of Finance and strategic objectives by producing reports and creating strategies to affect desired results. Deploys full competency in extensive reporting methods and
analysis. |

Duties:
Working knowledge of Finance department workflows, including, but not limited to: Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL), investments, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accounts payable, accrued expenses, daily balancing, and Automated Clearing House (ACH) and wire transactions. Ensuring the accuracy of transactions and account balances affecting the general ledger in accordance with GAAP, state and federal regulations.
Assists with month-end financial reporting and account reconciliations.
Assists the with development of the annual budget. Provides supportive financial analysis and projections through
coordination with senior management.
Coordinates Asset/Liability Management preparation and review internally and through third-party services.
Delivers effective financial support and analysis to the credit union’s management team, both personally and through the
Finance department staff. Expected to be an ambassador, promoting the Credit Union while delivering excellent
intradepartmental and member service.
Assists with and maintains all Finance and Accounting policies, practices and procedures.
Assist with the completion of mandatory regulatory reports (e.g. – FR2900, NCUA 5300, IRS 945, IRS
1099-MISC, etc.).
Work alongside the Credit Union’s external auditors, internal auditors, other third-party audit firms and the
National Credit Union Administration examination team to complete any necessary audits and reports as needed.
Performs other duties as instructed or assigned by the AVP of Finance or the VP of Finance.
Adheres to regulations and organizational policies, maintaining awareness and knowledge required to perform the duties
of the position including all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Lending, and Information Security. |
