Epiphany Lutheran Nursery School Hiring for Lead Teacher, Preschool Job at Richmond, VA Full Time

Epiphany Lutheran Nursery School is growing! ELNS is looking for Lead teachers for their preschool program. Positions available in both 2 year old and 3 year old classes. (One position available immediately and one beginning 2023-2024 school year) The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s or associate’s degree or a credential in Early Childhood Education, and possess a passion for teaching young children. Candidates should have experience teaching, preferably in a preschool setting.

A Lead Teacher at Epiphany Lutheran Nursery School is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment. Additionally a Lead Teacher is responsible to work in conjunction with the entire faculty. Our lead teachers are responsible for all lesson planning and are compensated for their planning time. We do not use a store bought curriculum and are a play-based center. Schedule will be Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. during the school year. Potential for additional hours as early as 8am and as late as 2:30pm exist.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
