Job Summary
This role will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for regulatory compliance, domestic, and international transportation. This position is responsible for all documentation, communications and ERP system transactions associated with Eisai’s commercial, clinical and various R&D products. The Global Logistics Specialist will provide communication and coordination of Eisai’s global shipments with Eisai’s global contract manufacturing organization (CMO) partners, transportation partners, brokers, and freight forwarders. The Global Logistics Specialist will be responsible for packaging, shipping documentation, carrier selection, and receipt confirmation as aligned to internal procedures.
This position is responsible for US imports/exports, governmental agency regulations, and compliance including US Customs, FDA, USDA, DEA, CDC, and Fish & Wildlife.
The Global Logistics Specialist must have strong organizational skills to ensure trade compliance and prevent delays in product delivery. The Global Logistics Specialist must effectively work as part of cross-functional teams including internal customers, peers, and management through effective oral and written communication. The individual in this role must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
