Integrates clinical laboratory science, computer science, and information science to enhance Laboratory Information Systems (L.I.S.) in the clinical laboratory and the organization as a whole. This includes the development and evaluation of applications, tools, processes, and structures which assist clinical lab personnel and clinicians with the presentation and management of data in providing care to patients and supporting clinical practice. Works collaboratively with Information Systems and other clinical departments in problem solving and assists with resolution. Assists in coordinating aspects of planning, design, development, training, implementation, communication, maintenance and evaluation of existing or future software. Acts as a liaison between all laboratory departments and other internal or external informatics clients, including vendors.

6 years Medical Technologist experience- required

2 years Lab Information Systems experience- preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 – $40.00 per hour
