The IT Business Analyst for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s Information Technology team at the company’s Houston, Texas office reporting to the Operations Applications Manager.
This role will be primarily responsible for the following:
Plan and execute new product deployments or material upgrades / enhancements to existing on prem and SaaS solutions
Prepare deliverables such as project plans, design documents, test documentation, training materials and administration/procedural guides to end user community
Cultivate a close working relationship with IT and operational resources to facilitate maintenance, implementation, and troubleshooting of software applications
Create, analyze, and validate detailed functional specifications and facilitate design sessions with the business and technical teams
Deliver end user training Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
Minimum Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology (MIS, CIS) or related field
Project Management experience preferred
Determine and define project scope and objectives
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Working knowledge of Agile project management methodology
5 plus years Oil and Gas industry experience preferred
Strong understanding of Oil and Gas principles
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills Competencies
