Job Duties :
The Project Manager for the Office for Equity and Diversity (OED or the Office) provides planning and implementation support for initiatives overseen by the Office and/or Associate Provost for Equity and Diversity. The Project Manager applies project management knowledge, technical and interpersonal skills, and project management tools and techniques to meet the requirements of unit led initiatives and activities.
Duties will include serving as a planner and/or manager for interinstitutional and campus partnerships, committees, and workgroups to facilitate the successful completion of goals and objectives on behalf of the Associate Provost. Some projects will require independently directing the work of a team with authority on actions and decisions. The Project Manager will develop and maintain effective working relationships with college/unit OED liaisons and track college/unit level activities, as appropriate. Projects managed through the unit will typically involve initiatives and activities specifically designed to sustain an inclusive environment and foster a broad representation of persons and perspectives, which directly supports student success including enhanced educational outcomes and employee engagement.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
This position is contingent upon available funding.Minimum Education/Experience :
Master’s degree; OR bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation :
none
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education :
Three years professional experience in roles that required coordinating projects and stakeholder engagement
Ability to develop templates and tools to provide guidance and support to both technical and non-technical audiences
