The Assistant Project Engineer is responsible for providing support and assistance to the project management team, including the Project Engineer, Project Manager, Island Manager, and/or operation’s leadership.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform administrative tasks according to the Project Manager’s instructions and ensure smooth communication between all relevant parties.
• Assist with the compilation and tracking of RFI’s, Submittals, Shop Drawings, and any other contract or project documents
• Perform research and analysis
• Assist with cross-checking project documents against code or FAR requirements
• Assist with review of equipment specifications and proposals
• Assist with compilation of change orders (including pricing, scoping, and tracking)
• Assist with document control and organization
• Maintain professional and timely communication with internal stakeholders as well as general contractor, A&E team, owner, subcontractors, various company divisions and other key participants
• Assist with tracking and documenting the warranty and/or maintenance periods
• Assist with close-out requirements
• Support and participate in the company safety program
• Perform other duties and tasks as requested by management

EDUCATION:

Minimum – High School Diploma, or Equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
