DiNi Communications, Inc Hiring for Infrastructure Resilience Architect Job at Brooklyn, NY Full Time

DiNi Communications, Inc. is seeking a Infrastructure Resilience Architect for an on-site position starting February 2023. Maintaining the confidentiality of the client’s information is of utmost importance. A potential candidate must possess the following skills:

1. Minimum 8 years of experience in the field of firewalls, network security and networking.

2. Must have strong experience with Palo Alto, Checkpoint and Cisco firewalls.

3. Must understand BGP, MPLS, OSPF, IS-IS routing protocols in a large environment.

4. Deep understanding on routing, load balancing and networking infrastructure.

Tasks:

1. Participate in design meetings and reviews from a security and network perspective on assigned projects.

2. Propose a networking security architecture to meet the business requirements and at the same time meet OTI’s Best practices guidelines.

3. Collaborate with OTI’s Architect teams for developing operable solutions for Citywide requirements.

4. Submit Build for installing new network or firewall devices.

5. Follow OTI process for new devices commissioning/decommissioning.

6. Configure ports, configure firewalls, and apply the base templates configurations, integrate the appliances into production network.

7. Develop and validate base configurations for operation use.

8. Create and review method-of-procedure for the change to be executed during the approved change window.

9. Open vendor support cases as needed and identify root causes.

10. Review and implement network optimizations, network resilience and network failover testing as directed.

11. Develop plan and strategy for complex network upgrades.

12. Complete any additional tasks assigned by the manager.

Please note that this position requires a candidate who is comfortable working closely as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $120.00 – $140.00 per hour
