Offering more than 100 certificate, associate and bachelor’s degree programs, Daytona State College (DSC) has
responded to the education and workforce training needs in our region for more than 60 years. The college enrolls nearly 25,000 students
annually at its seven instructional sites, with graduates serving in critical fields including health care, emergency services, business,
education, hospitality, engineering, technology and more.
We currently have an opportunity to join our team of talented and diverse
Faculty and Staff as a Writing Specialist.
Required Qualifications: This position requires a
bachelor’s degree in English, Composition & Rhetoric, Education, or a closely related field and two (2) years of related work
experience.
Working Hours: Work hours will vary between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Evening and weekend hours are required as needed. Work schedule may vary from week to week and work hours may differ, as needed on a daily
basis.
Please note: Responsibilities of this position may require travel for assignment to any
Daytona State campus (Daytona, DeLand, Deltona, New Smyrna, and Flagler/Palm Coast).
The salary is
$38,500.
