Skr Partners is working with one of the largest transportation companies in North America and are quickly growing their business.in the United States. Our client has become a dominant player in their sector offering a diversified portfolio of transportation and logistics solutions.
Since 2017, our client has acquired 4 separate U.S, logistics company. These acquisitions provided an operational footprint for them to leverage their combined customer relationships and capabilities to secure market growth throughout North America.
In the USA, our client has over 700 employees.
This role will be based in southern Pennsylvannia. This role will allow for the AVP to WFH and manage their schedule in office as the business requires. This will likely require an “in office” presence for 2-3 days/week most weeks
Mandate
The Assistant Vice President, Human Resources will build the necessary human capital team and strategies and programs to to help drive the U.S. divisions business growth. The AVP, Human Resources will act as a vital Partner/Counsellor to the business while providing “hands’-on” leadership and will report to the corporate VP Human Resources.
As a leader on both the human resources team and for the business, the AVP will enhance the delivery of an improved human resources service model and processes, manage change in the implementation of new HR processes and over time, build out talent management and organizational development programs. The AVP will help define the optimal strategies going forward, the required service models and the applicable resource needs.
The AVP will develop an integrated HR strategy including proactive programs for recruitment, retention, employee relations, reward and recognition, career advancement, policy and procedure development and implementation, compensation, benefits, performance management, as well as training and development.
