Position Purpose:
The Assistant Director, Learning Design (ADLD) is a leader within the team responsible for supporting learning across Dartmouth College. In collaboration with the Senior Director, the Assistant Director provides strategic vision, roadmaps, and design goals for the Learning Design and Innovation (LDI) team. Additionally, the ADLD ensures that the LDI team operates within a culture of innovation, providing excellent services in the fields of faculty development and course development for both in-person and online teaching. The ADLD is responsible for aligning Dartmouth’s learning designers’ contributions with these goals by managing a team that establishes inclusive and accessible design practices
