What Can You Expect as a Senior Learning Consultant?
As part of a dynamic learning and development team, the Senior Learning Consultant will collaborate with HR partners and business leaders to identify, design, and deliver engaging, practical, and business inspired learning solutions.
You will report to the Enterprise Learning and Development Manager and will have ownership of one or more highly visible enterprise-wide programs that involve project management, content development, vendor management, and facilitation.
Is this Role Right for You? In this role, you will:
Design and develop impactful, blended learning solutions (e.g., eLearning, virtual, classroom)
Lead, facilitate and manage complex learning programs
Develop and curate content, create learning plans, and design curricula
Create engaging learning solutions using instructional design techniques and adult learning theories
Provide recommendations to buy or curate learning solutions
Leverage project management techniques to manage multiple projects and deliverables
Collaborate and consult with multiple stakeholders and leaders across the enterprise
Summarize data and apply design expertise to present ideas to business partners and senior leaders
Bring a curious mindset to learn about our business and stay current on talent development industry trends
Coordinate both classroom and virtual learning events that may include vendor management, managing enrollment in our LMS and preparing and tearing down training space
Travel up to 10% of the time domestically
Do You Have What It Takes?
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Learning & Development with expertise in Instructional Design and Facilitation, Talent Management, and/or Human Resources
Bachelor’s degree in Adult Learning, Human Resources Management, Organization Development, , Business, or at least 5 years of professional experience with a certification such as APTD/CPTD, SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or PMP
Strong consulting skills and a track record of building collaborative relationships with colleagues and leaders
Exceptional facilitation skills in both virtual and face to face environments
Relevant experience applying adult learning theory to develop blended learning plans, content, and curricula
Experience with learning management systems and learning technologies used for creating mixed media learning experiences (i.e., Articulate 360, Camtasia, etc.)
Authorization to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the future
