Position Title: Library Director at J. Drake Edens Library
Reports To: Provost
Location: Columbia College, 1301 Columbia College Dr, Columbia SC 29203
Columbia College seeks a collaborative,
creative college library director who will provide oversight, direction, and management of all library operations. The director will
position and oversee the library services for all of Columbia College’s diverse constituents, including in person and virtual
learners, undergraduate and graduate level students, and the Columbia College faculty community. The library director provides leadership in
planning, managing the budget, strategic planning, implementing and evaluating services, reviewing the status of the physical facilities,
and supervising the faculty librarians and staff of the J. Drake Edens Library. The Director of the Library is a non-tenured member of the
faculty.
