Department Statement:
The Teaching and Research Support Technician supports faculty and students in the Department of Earth and Environmental Geosciences (EEGS) by providing expertise in sample preparation and the maintenance and operation of analytical instrumentation used for teaching and research. The Technician also supports the broader EEGS educational mission, including training students in instrumental and sample preparation methods, assisting with in-house teaching labs, field trips and other department activities, and supporting the Linsley Geology Museum.

Professional Experience/ Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Preferred areas of study: Geology, Physical Sciences or related field, or 5+ years of related experience is required.
Other Information:
Interviews are expected to begin after July 1st.
This is a part-time benefited position. The hourly rate with a range of $22-$27 is commensurate with education and experience.
