An exciting opportunity is available to join a progressive agriculture department in northwest Kansas at Colby Community College as an
agronomy instructor. This is a full-time, nine-month position that begins in August 2024. The successful candidate will develop a strong
agronomy program to meet the demands of an ever-changing agriculture industry and equip current and future students to meet these demands.
The candidate will be tasked with student advising, course development, and instructing students (in the classroom, laboratory, and small
group settings) on the basic study of Agronomy, including crop production science and soil science, to meet the requirements of an Associate
of Science and/or transfer program.
Potential Topics Covered Include:
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in agronomy, crop science or a related field, such as agriculture science, plant science, soil science, and education
with a specialization in agronomy OR the equivalent.
SALARY
$42,750 or higher, depending on credentials and
experience.
