Test Center Administrator
Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for a Test Center Administrator (Time Limited with Benefits) in the Academic Testing Center.
Duties include, but are not limited to: providing administrative support and back up to the Academic Testing Center; administering exams by strictly adhering to guidelines and procedures set by school or testing company; reviewing candidate documents to confirm completeness; communicating with candidates on required documentation, testing procedures and policies, as well as answering questions about exam policies; building and maintaining a knowledge of testing company and CCU’s exam policies and procedures; ability to recall information regarding rules and regulations from specific exams and testing companies; troubleshooting issues that may occur with testing software or computer hardware and be able to communicate them to others; performing routine clerical work, which may include answering phones, maintaining records, filing, sorting, shredding, and cleaning; providing superior customer service to test candidates and prospective candidates, including those who call or visit the Academic Testing Center; exhibiting excellent verbal skills in presenting information in person or by phone; online support of ATC software. Including inputting updates to the ATC website as assigned by Director; and scheduling reconciliation of various exam companies daily.
Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years’ experience in a professional office setting required. Six (6) months experience in standardized testing, working with scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required. Certifications for administering exams from Professional testing companies preferred, including: ATI/TEAS, ETS/Prometric, Pearson VUE, PSI, PAN, Kryterion, Meazure Learning/Scantron/Castle Worldwid, Miller Analogies, PROV, and CLEP.

Time-Limited position with benefits. Starting annual salary: $28,000.00. Normal work hours: Monday through Friday. Must be flexible to meet special scheduling needs of the University. Must have flexibility to meet the demands of the testing center schedule. Hours may vary based on demand throughout the year.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge and use of general office equipment – copy, scan, shredder, computer, printer, telephone. Ability to troubleshoot issues that may occur with testing software or computer hardware and be able to communicate them to others. Ability to work well with people. Use of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Use of RegisterBlast scheduling software and maintenance of ATC schedules for each testing company. Individual must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks at one time. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner, including the swap out computers, cables, and accessories as needed.
