The Clemson University College of
Education seeks highly qualified candidates to fill a full-time faculty position in the Athletic Leadership program at the rank of Lecturer.
The Athletic Leadership program at Clemson University is a student-centered online program that focuses on leadership and ethical
development for coaches and athletic administrators in educational settings. This program is committed to the development of the coaching
profession with specific emphasis on the intercollegiate setting. The nine-month appointment includes an annually renewable contract and
will begin fall 2024. As Athletic Leadership is an emerging field, candidates without a terminal degree who have significant experience in
collegiate coaching and/or administrative fields will be considered. Clemson University is interested in candidates who can contribute to
the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their research, teaching, and/or service.

This is a nine-month
position renewed annually and eligible for promotion along the lecturer lines outlined in the Clemson University Faculty manual. Applicants
invited for a campus interview should be prepared to make a presentation to the Athletic Leadership faculty describing their leadership
style and vision for the growth and development of the program. Candidates will also be required to meet with the search committee, EOLD
department chair, and Dean of the College of Education.
