Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, this experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service. Qualifying Specialized experience includes having skill and experience evaluating and reviewing organizations, programs, activities, and functions to assess compliance with laws, policies, regulations, and contract provisions; plans, develops, and coordinates planning and communication through briefings, presentations, and conferences; expertise in effectiveness of internal controls; and the efficiency and effectiveness of operations; plans, conducts, and participates in task forces and aids management with various studies, assessments, and reviews; provides policy guidance and advisory assistance in the development of strategies to enhance compliance, internal control, and risk management activities; reviews and analyzes policies, publications, specifications and instructions for impact on risk management processes and provides direction and recommendations as necessary; develops, compiles, and/or revises specific operational plans, briefings, and requirements from review of program guidance, requirements, and operational oversight; and plans and leads compliance reviews, risk assessments, internal control evaluations, and special studies identified personally or through leadership request.
