Position Summary: Provide holistic career development services to students, faculty and staff. Additional project oversight at the centralized level will include assisting with developing and connecting students to opportunities and educating them to be prepared for a successful career journey after Clarkson. They will carry a class year caseload and oversee the career development marketing/branding for the office. In addition, assisting with all campus programming, events and campus recruiting programming. Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:
Education:
Minimal Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social sciences, social work, business, human resources, or 1-3 years of related work experience at a Higher Education Institution having experience with the career office.
Experience:
Minimal Qualifications: Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge/experience in the job field including; career development best practices, career readiness competencies, prior work in a career center or employer recruiting role resulting in proven career knowledge and relationship building. Prior work with creating and marketing event information. Creative thinker with the ability to collaborate across a campus community in developing career programming and education.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Career Center or other Higher Education area with experience collaborating with a career office. Other essential qualities include: strong listening, collaboration and communication skills, solid writing ability and presentation skills, software knowledge (Handshake, Google Drive, Excel, Canva, Moodle, Wordle), willingness to learn about the field/best practices, and an appreciation for and interest in working with diverse students, employers and faculty. Prior work with creating, collaborating and delivering programming to students. Strong time management and prioritization skills and the ability to maintain multiple projects simultaneously.
