Children’s National Medical Center Hiring for Vice President of Systems & Data Integrity CNHF at Silver Spring, MD  Full Time

Reporting to the President of the Children’s National Hospital Foundation (CNHF) and serving as an integral senior management team member, the Vice President of Systems & Data Integrity is responsible for overseeing and leveraging the organization’s data assets to drive business growth. This position will drive the organization’s digital transformation efforts, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize processes, products and services while exploring and advocating for new technologies, tools, and methodologies.

This position will lead the strategy of systems, data governance, data integrity in support of gift administration, portfolio management and digital fundraising.

Minimum Work Experience
12 years analytics and IT experience with a minimum of 6 years supervisory/management experience in related job function (Required)

Functional Accountabilities
Vision and Strategy

• Own the strategic planning process, creating the 3-5 year roadmap of technology priorities for the Foundation in support of annual giving, direct response, special events and major gifts, including the creation and adherence of short-term and long-term goals.

• Conduct assessment of current technologies to identify gaps and opportunities.

• Create and lead the data governance team to establish policies, procedures and systems ownership. Institute and manage a structure to enforce data governance.

• Develop and oversee the digital fundraising organization and the data insights to inform donor retention, upgrades and pipeline growth.

• Support the development of portfolio management and prospect research priorities focusing on revenue growth opportunities.

• Manages projects in a complex environment, ensure retention of key donors, and uses in-depth innovative data solutions for donor facing teams.

• Provide Foundation-wide direction on the use of emerging fundraising technologies.

Human Capital and Organizational Relationships

• Assess and monitor organizational staffing requirements and align IT, analytics, governance and digital communication functions to effectively and efficiently meet organizational needs.

• Define, set and utilize appropriate performance and quality measures for IT functions.

• Build the breadth and depth of the organization’s human capacity through competency assessment, succession planning and career development.

• Establish, build and sustain professional contacts with key stake holders internally and externally.

• Role model ethics and professional practices, as well as stimulate social accountability and community stewardship.

Information Technology and Resources

• Identify opportunities in the use of fundraising technology and decision-support tools to improve operating efficiency and reduce costs.

• Actively sponsor the utilization and continuous upgrade of information management, data analytics and data science capabilities. Ensure the availability and quality of data to support senior leadership decision-making providing quarterly internal technology trend report.

• Identify emerging technologies to be assimilated, integrated and introduced within the corporation which will positively impact the Foundation’s operations and performance.

• Establish technology training protocols for all fundraising staff

• Assess brand-new fundraising computing technologies including artificial intelligence to determine potential value for the enterprise.

• Work with cyber security teams to establish robust data protection measures.

Budget and Financial Management

• Continually monitor budgets, fiscal performance and resource allocation to minimize variance; take appropriate action to correct negative financial trends.

• Develop and maintain statements of necessary policies and procedures to define standards and ensure proper documentation and communication of necessary controls.
