CDK Lightspeed is hiring an energetic, eager-to-learn Customer/Tech Instructor who will focus on developing and building online and classroom learning material for the Lightspeed product and will conduct training classes for current and new customer support associates. This person will master the Lightspeed product and create engaging learning activities and compelling online lesson content, learning objectives, and assessments.
As the Customer/Tech Instructor one is held accountable to, however not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Devise highly effective and efficient learning content for associate training needs that can be repurposed for different moments of need
Lead group classroom instruction training associates to handle interactions and solve problems
Create and Document Trainings and Assessments
Interview Lightspeed subject matter experts to design relevant content
Produce content and incorporate feedback within agreed-upon timelines
Continuously improving learning content by reviewing learner feedback, team feedback, and business impact
Other tasks and projects as needed
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Sets and achieves high-quality standards for grammar, design, and learning experience
Must be open to feedback about work output
Strong Technical Skills: “Quick study” with software; Easily able to see the “core concept” through a “maze of detail”
Action-Oriented AND Results-Driven: Works fast and iteratively to gather feedback on work output
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years of working experience in a related role
2+ years of experience teaching in a customer support environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Industry experience is a huge plus, specific Lightspeed product or recreation dealership industry experience
Experience specializing in Instructional Design, Curriculum Instruction, or Educational Technology
Pay: $70,000
