What will I do as the Jr. Accountant?
As the Jr. Accountant, you will apply accounting principles to analyze financial information, prepare financial reports by compiling information, prepare profit and loss statements, and utilize appropriate accounting control procedures. This position is responsible for championing the accounts payable process and supporting the programmatic billing processes. You will also proactively identify and troubleshoot financial problems, and recommend, design, and implement department controls and procedures as needed.

What are the requirements?
An Associate’s degree in Accounting is required, while a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Prior experience in accounting and/or finance, preferably in a non-profit or social services field, is also required. Prior experience using accounting software, QuickBooks or Financial Edge experience, is a plus.
