Position Summary:
Our innovative and growing organization is searching for a motivated and compassionate candidate for the Optometry Department. Our department is passionate about a lot of things like our patients, our team members, and of course eyes; they provide a window into the health of your body. We are looking to add a member to our group who has strong communication skills, is dependable, self-motivated, and responsible. This position provides onsite training along with offering several opportunities to grow personally and professionally. We also provide a great work life balance with our 8hour day shifts.The Optometric Technician is an unlicensed health professional who assists the optometrists, physicians and nurses with patient screening, diagnostic testing, exams and maintains department patient care supplies, ensures timely flow of patients, and provides educational instructions for optometry patients. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Basic Life Support (BLS). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within thirty (30) days of start date in position. Medical Terminology must be obtained within one (1) year of start date in position.
