Overview:
Performs staff recruiting functions, including: Screening of all applications, conducting phone interviews, making recommendations to company officials, processing all background information, scheduling formal interviews with hiring managers. May also perform HR Specialist duties as needed

1. Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values and the operating principles
2. Posts all positions in iCIMS and to external recruitment web sites
3. Reviews all job postings for accuracy and updates as required
4. Communicates with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and keeps Human Resources Director informed of all recruiting activities and progress
5. Screens all resumes to ensure they meet the minimum requirements
6. Performs initial in-person or virtual screening interviews
7. Establishes outreach programs within community, with businesses, colleges, universities, etc.
8. Attends job fairs
9. Performs reference and background checks
10. Makes recommendations to hiring managers
11. Coordinates interviews with hiring managers
12. Follows up on interview process status
13. Builds relationships with external clients to ensure all staffing needs are met
14. Communicates to applicants
15. Stays current on all company polices, and all federal and state laws regarding employment practices
16. Stays actively involved in company leadership development process
17. Trains new managers on use of iCIMS program
18. Attends required staff training sessions
19. Performs other duties as assigned as it applies to the Human Resource Department

Minimum:
High School graduate or equivalent. One year’s experience in recruiting/sales/marketing.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources. Experience in recruiting.

Knowledge Required:
Ability to proficiently operate personal computer; working knowledge of word processing and math spreadsheet software applications. Ability to type accurately at a moderate speed. Familiarity with basic EEO/AAP legislation. Knowledge of basic interviewing skills. Sound business telephone techniques. Ability to use proper Business English, proofread and correct grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors.
