Bracken Christian School is looking for a committed Elementary Teacher for our lower elementary to complement its qualified faculty and staff. Each teacher at Bracken incorporates a worldview into teaching that is distinctively Christian. You will be responsible for preparing and advising programs and goals that actively engage students in activities, giving engaging instruction, and building strong relationships with students. You will know how to organize a class, make learning English meaningful and an enjoyable process. You will be responsible for ensuring that deadlines are met in a timely manner.
Professional qualifications
- Has a bachelor’s degree English or equivalent and/or education from an accredited
college or university
- Holds (or be eligible) a teaching certificate in elementary education
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Personal qualifications
- Has a strong Christian faith and personal testimony
- Adheres and agrees with the school’s statement of faith
- Embraces the responsibility for being a spiritual role model for students
Preferred consideration
- A relevant master’s degree
- Christian school experience
- Proven experience as a lower grade elementary school teacher
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27,928.35 – $75,326.34 per year
