Our North America Compensation and Benefits Center of Excellence is looking for an Analyst to join our retirement team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about both finance and directly supporting employees. The ideal candidate should have a background in financial analysis, thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a self-starter, detail oriented, and works effectively with internal and external contacts.
The US Benefits Analyst will be responsible for supporting the administration of the Defined Contribution (DC) and Defined Benefit (DB) US retirement plans, serving over 10,000 members. They will be an integral part of the team conducting quantitative analyses at the individual and plan level.
YOU’RE GOOD AT
Supporting the administration of the US retirement plans
Participating in annual year end processes, including calculation of PSRF (DC) Plan contributions, and Non-Discrimination Testing (NDT)
Analyzing large amounts of data including payroll and other inputs with Excel, Alteryx, and other software tools
Providing support for annual retirement plan audits and financial statement preparation
Participating in ongoing administration of retirement plans with file management, reconciliations, and weekly funding remittances
Responding to ongoing employee and HR requests
Working closely with external vendors to audit and update plan information
Providing support to the US Retirement Plan Committee, scheduling committee meetings, writing minutes, and ensuring that meeting documentation is complete
Supporting the preparation and distribution of all federal filings and compliance reports, including but not limited to: 5500 and required schedules, QDIA, SAR, SOX notices, AFTAP, fee disclosures, funding notices
Managing the US Retirement inbox, including timely follow up
Communicating effectively with local offices and employees about retirement benefits
Working closely with external vendors and legal teams to resolve complex employee benefit issues, including account access, distributions, and other requests
Creating written communication to be distributed to all staff about services updates, changes and notifications
Developing materials and conducting annual US retirement plan participant investment education, including programming, communications, and evaluation of reach to ensure that benefit is well understood and valued by all employees
Conducting one-on-one informational sessions with Managing Directors and Partners when they join or exit the plan to educate them about plan design and their individual contribution allocation and distribution options
Ensuring plan materials are up to date on intranet and other internal sites
Serving as a liaison for Partner Services, internal legal, accounting, tax, and other departments
Project support as needed
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
BA/BS degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
2 years of financial analysis experienced preferred with an interest in compensation and benefits
Familiarity with retirement plan design a plus
Very strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Workday, Alteryx (preferred)
The ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, global, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment, keeping with BCG’s values and culture
