Roles and Responsibilities

As a part of the IT Team, the IT Engineer’s roles will include:

• Providing high-quality technical customer support
• Serve as escalation point for IT TechniciansTechnicians will bring questions/concerns to engineers for assistance, and may escalate tickets already in progress.
• Escalate high-complexity tickets to Senior EngineersEngineers need to bring questions/concerns to Senior Engineers and recognize when to escalate their tickets to them.
• Engineers will spend time out in the field at client sites as well as in the office
• Will be responsible for being on-call (approximately once a quarter based on team size)
• Technical skills that would be useful:

Windows desktop troubleshooting
Operating system issues as well as MS Office, web applications, etc.
PC setup and deployment
Server setup and deployment
Windows Server supportActive Directory Domain Services, DNS, DHCP, etc.
Application troubleshooting via vendor management
O365 administration and troubleshooting

Email flow, licensing adjustments, etc.

Azure administration and troubleshooting VMs, MFA, integrations, etc.

Networking troubleshootingWireless, ISP issues, routers, switches
VMware administration and troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Experience in a managed service environment is a plus
• 3-5 years of direct work experience in IT support
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent listening skills
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
