We are seeking a Director of Talent Acquistion to provide support and direction on the Beth Israel Lahey Health Talent Acquisition team. This role will specifically support our Community Hospitals.
Community Hospitals include: AJH, Beverly/Addison-Gilbert, Milton, Needham, Plymouth, Winchester

Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing talent acquisition activity for all role based vacancies at identified entities/business units, including Clinical, Allied Health, Research and Non-Clinical positions. Ensures diverse high quality hires, efficient hiring practices, effective recruitment technology, creative marketing strategies, and compliance with internal policies and government regulations. A strong leader who will manage a high volume talent acquisition team who are focused on providing excellent customer service to our hiring managers and our applicants. This role will provide vision, strategic leadership, and practical experience to talent acquisition infrastructure.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop and implement cost-effective talent acquisition strategies ensuring effective and creative sourcing, evaluation, and selection of the most qualified and diverse talent for your assigned entities/business units.
Direct and oversee development, implementation of all recruiting and talent acquisition programs to attract and retain staff while leveraging talent acquisition resources.
Develop appropriate metrics and tracking mechanisms, service-level agreements and other planning and measurement tools to build accountability and measure results, impact and cost-effectiveness of the hiring process and talent acquisition team.
Lead with a continuous improvement mindset, involving the talent acquisition team and hiring managers in identifying process improvements in our hiring practice that will reduce the time to fill and increase the quality of candidates/new hires, such as standardization of the hiring process and improved interviewing tools.
Identify and oversee development and delivery of appropriate learning and reference tools, policies, practices and procedures for staff to deliver timely and effective recruiting, hiring and workforce planning
Provide strategic direction, talent acquisition expertise, and guidance to key stakeholders on strategic and emerging talent acquisition trends, benchmarks, and other talent acquisition issues.
Ensure that every new hire has a positive, polished and professional recruitment experience by creating an exceptional experience at each step of the recruitment process, collaborating with other HR divisions and organization leaders to assure a smooth orientation handoff from talent acquisition to the hiring teams.
Ensure compliance with EEO and other regulatory requirements, and oversee progress against goals in the various Affirmative Action Plans.
Has the responsibility to lead and support managers and directors in developing and improving operations to create optimal performance levels. Direct Reports: More than 7 Indirect Reports: None
Has full responsibility for planning, monitoring and managing department budget.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Business Administration, HR preferred.
5-8 years related work experience required and 1-3 years supervisory/management experience required
Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws.
Experience leading the implementation of system-wide recruitment technology and/or recruitment marketing initiatives, including ATS, SEO Sites, Career sites; pre-employment assessments; SkillSurvey reference tool, etc.
Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.
Preferred Qualifications:
HR leadership experience in Healthcare organizations and/or in large/complex organizations.
LEAN or Six Sigma experience improving HR processes and customer experience.
Workday experience is a plus.

Customer Service: Ability to lead operational initiatives to meet or exceed customer service standards and expectations in assigned unit(s) and/or across multiple areas in a timely and respectful manner.
