American Guard Services INC Hiring for Human Resources Assistant Job at Gardena, CA Full Time

American Guard Services seeks to hire a Human Resources Assistant. This position will be responsible for assisting with HR reporting compliance for our offices/ branches.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
• Conducts audits of HR program and recommends corrective action
• Assists with on boarding and processing of terminations
• Files documents in appropriate employee files
• Prepares correspondence as required
• Performs other related duties

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR role
• Bilingual Spanish/ English preferred
• Knowledge of unemployment claims and benefits
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skill and attention to detail
• Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at time stressful environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software

• Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the State
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• A professional and Clean up kept appearance
