SUMMARY:

This position will support our global communications leadership and strategies for our global footprint. This position will work remotely and report to our Senior Director, Corporate Communications.

You will make an impact in the following ways:

• Support global communications strategy that spans our diverse international footprint and workforce.
• Support implementation of tactics and measurement of success for a variety of business initiatives and communication objectives.
• Draft and edit communications and assist in executing campaigns for various teams such as business leadership, human resources and more.
• Utilize Salesforce for internal email communications.
• Research continuous improvement projects for increased industry knowledge and best practices.
• Perform administrative tasks for the corporate communications team and strategy as needed.
• Follow Belden’s brand identity guide when developing print and web-based internal communications and presentations.
• Manage the Belden Corporate Communications mailbox.
• Assist in pulling and managing distribution lists and access for employees.

What you bring:

• 1-3 years of communications or marketing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a field such as communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or a related field
• Strong writing skills (provide samples upon request)
• Ability to think creatively and analytically
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Ability to think strategically as well as operate at a tactical level
• Strong project management and organizational skills, comfort with ambiguity and excitement for fast-paced atmosphere
