IT Support Associate

Good Food Restaurants is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Associate to join our IT Department in support of our eighteen restaurants across four independent brands in Ohio and Indiana. The IT Support Associate is responsible for offering technical support for Good Food Restaurants’ operating systems. These include POS, third party integrators, hardware, software/applications, and network/infrastructure. The IT Support Associate will be involved in assisting with new projects and initiatives, store openings, and the enhancement of existing platforms. This position is a resource to help bolster our internal IT department.

The IT Support Associate will be responsible for:

• Supporting day-to-day GFR operations from an IT perspective
• Providing end-user support
• Intermediary point of escalation from helpdesk
• IT resource for restaurants and corporate projects
• Regularly collaborating with Director of IT, and other administrators, on company-wide initiatives and projects to maximize results
• Assisting with routine data entry and other systems maintenance
• Assisting with new store installs and occasional onsite field work
• Training store and corporate office employees on new processes
• Occasional overflow of general support requests
• Responding to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical escalations and assisting users with questions or problems, dispatching tickets with proper vendor support if needed.
• Working with Back office & company laptop/desktop computers, VoIP Phone systems, Point of Sale system, mobile phones, tablets. Supported Software – Aloha Point of Sale, MS Office, Windows 10/11
• Documenting, tracking, and monitoring IT problems to ensure a timely resolution, with internal and external support personnel.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of IT experience
• Restaurant IT experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Point-of-Sale programs a plus
• Strong familiarity with data analytics
• Ability to produce desired results in an independent work environment with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work within, and understand change and release management processes
• Comfortability with a rapidly expanding brand
• Some travel required
• Requires an on-call weekend rotation for emergencies
• Applicable education preferred, but not required

Work Environment

• An in-person work environment at the company’s corporate office in Lima, OH.
• The position is full time, salaried, and exempt.
• The position will require travel, up to 25%.
• The position will report the Director of IT.
