Provost
Position Summary:
This is a senior officer of the institution and reports
directly to the President. The VP & Provost is the chief academic officer responsible for providing leadership, vision and strategic
direction for academic life at Bastyr. This position also oversees research-related efforts of the university and is schedule to start July
1, 2024.

The individual
must know the intricacies of the administration of the academic unit of a small private university. Knowledge of faculty recruitment,
supervision and evaluation, and development is important. Knowledge of curriculum evaluation, development, and assessment is important as
well. Knowledge of budget management associated with curriculum development and faculty compensation is required.
