Anderson Merchandisers is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Compensation and Benefits Analyst to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of compensation and benefits practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This position will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing the company’s total rewards programs. An expertise in data analysis, market research, and compensation and benefits planning are essential to ensure the company’s compensation and benefits packages remain competitive in the market.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate job descriptions to ensure job grades are properly established.
Support the design, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefits programs in alignment with company policies and industry best practices and equity designs.
Assist in job analysis and evaluations to determine appropriate compensation levels for various positions.
Participate in salary surveys to ensure competitiveness in the market and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations accurately and within specified timeframes.
Provide timely and accurate responses to employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll processing, including the review of payroll reports for discrepancies.
Maintain and update employee records related to compensation and benefits in HRIS systems, with a focus on data integrity and confidentiality.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of compensation-related communications and materials.
Stay informed about industry trends and legislative changes to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Contribute to the development and improvement of compensation and benefits policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Participate in special projects and initiatives related to compensation and benefits, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Strong understanding of compensation and benefits principles and practices. Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, such as EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, Pay Equity/Transparency
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
Prior experience with HRIS systems, with preference given to candidates with Workday experience.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations.
