Job Summary:
We are seeking a Process Intelligence Consultant to join our newly formed Digital Transformation Office. As an internal consultancy, we are responsible for identifying operational consistency opportunities that improve the customer experience and enable the organization to deliver transformative growth initiatives. Our goal is to eliminate complexities, inefficiencies, high-cycle times, and costs that conflict with simple and affordable insurance, with the customer at the center of everything we do.
As a Process Intelligence Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving the strategy of Business Process Intelligence to enhance the organization’s ability to visualize, measure and analyze the business for digital transformation. You will be part of an innovative, digitally focused, process intelligent organization that is committed to improving the customer experience. You will be responsible for developing process analysis dashboards and heatmaps to highlight opportunities for the business to optimize their processes.
In this role, your technical expertise and quick learning skills will be crucial to the success of our digital transformation initiatives, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization’s growth and success.
This position is a permanent remote home-based worker. Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States. This position is eligible for a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset the costs of internet and phone expenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with each business area across the organization to model and assess business processes against key characteristics to identify the highest opportunities.
- Develop and enhance complex dashboards on process landscape, key process characteristics, heatmaps and optimization metrics.
- Break down complex information in a systematic and communicable manner.
- Gather and document business process industry benchmarks for baseline measurements.
- Partner closely with Finance, Internal Audit and Human Resources for input and alignment on costs, risk and resource benchmarks.
- Enhance and maintain the Process Classification Framework and Business Process Catalog.
- Partner closely with Optimization Factory on opportunities and process mining feedback loop.
- Maintain KPIs on process assessments and optimization results.
- Develop and enhance process for connecting multiple data sources, in different forms and be willing to use an array of tools or methods to create a streamlined solution.
- Strategize and enhance process for data validation to ensure accuracy.
- Develop and deliver training on data sources/tools to enhance recipients’ ability to analyze business processes
- Serve as a mentor to team to mature the skill sets of process intelligence
Education and Experience:
- 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
- 5 or more years of experience (Preferred)
- In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Functional Skills:
- Advanced analytical skills
- Strong experience in time and task management and project management
- Strong Attention to details
- Ability to engage and influence others
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary groups and all organizational levels.
- Strong presentation skills; ability to guide leadership through visualization metrics and end results including causation
- Advanced technology fluency in tools and software/programming languages with key analytic applications (SAS, MySQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, UNIX, OLAP, Tableau)

Compensation offered for this role is$84,500.00-$128,000.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.
