Job Purpose: Assist the Human Resources Manager in the day-to-day HR operations which includes such activities as; employment, employee relations, and employment services. Supports the General Manager, Operations Manager and Accounting Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the day to day support the HR department.
Assists the Human Resources Manager with the recruiting, hiring, onboarding employees. Recruiting efforts include posting jobs on different websites and in ADP, accepts resumes and applications, schedules interviews. Assists with scheduling background checks and drug testing.
Translate conversations from English to Spanish when needed. Review, update and translate to Spanish internal processes, procedures, and policies.
Assists in employee relations.
Assures activities are documented.
Provide administrative support to the Human Resource Manager and other departments as needed to ensure effective and efficient office operations.
Answer phones when necessary.
Maintains accurate records. Maintain the Affirmative Action Logs as required.
Operates a computer to enter, retrieve, review, or modify data.
Assists in processing workers compensation claims, unemployment claims and employee FMLA paperwork.
Create reports to collect data. Analyze and make recommendations on where improvements can be made.
Competencies:
Must be able to Speak Spanish fluently Must be able to translate documents and information from English to Spanish and vise versa.
Maintains strict confidentiality.
Must have excellent attendance / tardiness record.
