Administrative Assistant/ Human Resources Assistant

The Administrative Assistant- Human Resources/ Accounting, reports to the Executive Director and performs the following clerical, administrative, accounting and HR functions:

• Greets employees and answers phone.
• Assists applicants for employment, processes applications including reference checks and background screenings; maintains employment and medical files; processes employment verifications; schedules appointments and new hire orientation; ensures employee enrollment in benefits; submits work-related injury reports and related recordkeeping.
• Processes accounts receivable and payables; codes invoices and requests payments; processes resident statements and accounting reports; enters employee time, processes timesheets and exceptions and enrolls new employees in timeclock.
• Performs other reports and clerical duties as assigned.
