Schedule: Hybrid (3 in office/2 remote)
Travel: less than 5% to assist with physical inventory and site audits
Pay range: $65,000-95,000/year

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Job Description Summary:
The Staff Accountant’s major area of responsibilities will include inventory control and costing, including month-end close processes; general ledger account analyses and reconciliations; compliance with Company policies and procedures; process improvement initiatives; technical accounting research; internal reporting requests; coordinating and fulfilling requests related to internal/external audit and special projects.
Maintaining the organization’s accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
Participate in the monthly close process
Journal entry preparation
Create journal entries
Close production costs and allocation of variances to cost of goods sold
Monthly financial statement review
Analyze various income statement accounts to identify large or unusual activity
Complete and review various account reconciliations
Analyze balance sheet account balances and changes
Execute the completion of various monthly and quarterly reports
Execution of the daily costing activities, including by not limited to
Execute monthly cost roll for produced items; analyze all significant cost revaluations.
Analyze Moving Average Price (MAP) changes for procured items on a daily basis; research significant changes to determine root cause.
Gas/hardgood inventory movements: Understand and monitor daily inventory movements within AMG to identify and correct issues.
Work with field personnel on cost related matters.
Follow internal accounting controls that are consistent with Company requirements
Compile data needed to support internal and external reporting requirements
Provide excellent “client service” to internal/external contacts

Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years’ experience in prior senior accounting roles
Current SAP experience preferred
Knowledge and understanding of GAAP
Mastery of Excel (including pivot table, vlookup)
