Job Responsibilities:
Provide day to day support for end users/computing users using Spiceworks ticketing system.
Provide voice and Telco support for the corporate office and remote sites, audio/visual systems, unified communications like Teams, and Zoom.
Document process/procedure for end user computing, support, and maintenance
Support for end user workstations, laptops, copiers, printers.
Maintain systems documentation, and inventory of end user computing devices, printers, monitors, TVs, desktops, spare parts like keyboards and mice.
Configure, troubleshoot, refresh and monthly patching of Windows 10, 11.
Assist with monitoring computer networks and systems including software, VPNs, routers and Fortinet firewalls. to maintain optimal performance. Analyze system issues and provide resolutions.
Monitor and maintain Endpoint Protection and Intrusion Detection software to ensure data and communications integrity and security.
Occasional day travel to remote sites required for support, and special projects
VMware administration and troubleshooting
Escalate complex support request to relevant IT Director for resolutions
Educating coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage.
Conduct IT related trainings to new hires, and users as needed
Minimal Requirements:
Degree in computer science or a related field is preferable.
Strong knowledge of software – Windows 10 and 11, drivers, SharePoint, monthly security updates, and Office 365 Suite, of Applications
Must be able to move and lift up to 25 lbs. of equipment such as switches, routers, UPS, laptops, firewalls, etc.
Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2016 and 2019 networking, telephony, Azure AD and Office 365
Active Directory and Group Policy.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Office 365 administration, AZURE AD,
SharePoint, PowerShell and Azure is a plus.
