AFC Industries Hiring for Supply Chain Warehouse Specialist Job at Pella, IA Full Time

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our team in Pella, Iowa to support a local manufacturer. This position is responsible for assisting in the management of the supply chain for industrial supplies, maintaining an organized warehouse environment, providing customer service support, collaborating on product choice, and accurate inventory management, including ordering, receiving and delivery to the customer’s plants.

WORK HOURS 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM – Monday-Friday

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Highly accurate receiving, storing, retrieving and delivery of supplies to customer’s plants.
• Maintain an organized warehouse environment.
• Utilize company technology to complete daily tasks, ensure appropriate stock levels, generate, track and route orders.
• Strong focus on high customer satisfaction.
• Effectively communicate and establish productive, professional relationships with customer’s key personnel.
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

· PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to perform physical job duties, including ability to walk for a large portion of the day, as well as ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects up to 50 pounds.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or the equivalent is required
• Microsoft Excel experience preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of cutting tools, abrasives, and MRO products preferred
• Fork truck experience
• Customer service experience
• Relevant military experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
