The Account Manager, cultivates and develops existing client relationships, and consults on staffing needs and processes, by partnering with Medical Edge to source and confirm qualified clinicians and facilitate successful assignments; ultimately generating revenue and increasing clinicians working and expanding market share.
Job Tasks:
· Maintain communication with the client regarding open orders, candidate supply, confirmed clinicians, and contract end dates.
· Communicate with facility client contacts, recruitment department, and/or senior management to overcome challenges and offer strategic solutions related to fill orders
· Establishes consultative relationship with client contacts to identify needs driving existing and future orders, timing of orders, and fill rates. Offers proactive solutions for cross departmental staffing challenges.
· Provides strategic and operational oversight to support clients including candidate selection, communication, candidate orientation and on-boarding.
· Along with managing existing accounts, must be able to seek out new business opportunities through cold and warm calling prospective clients within assigned territories
· Communicate client needs to Medical Edge internal partners (i.e., recruitment, back-office support, senior leadership, etc.). Collaborate on any staffing challenges.
· Provides recruitment team accurate order details to ensure adequate candidate file flow so all staffing needs are filled within contract timeframes.
· Must be able to source and recruit candidates for high priority job orders
· Works with recruiting team to ensures candidates are an appropriate fit for position
· Reconcile orders using CRM tool to increase accuracy and booking process momentum.
· Maintain and update client database in CRM
· Document and report on account management activity and productivity in CRM

· Proven ability to create a compelling value proposition, develop effective proposals, and present them to senior decision-makers to influence purchase and buying decisions
· Travel required – up to 10% annually
· Sales acumen, critical thinking skills, emotional intelligence, ability to be solution-oriented, drive to win, and executive presence
· Previous experience selling and/or Account Management of Hospitals, Health Systems, Outpatient Centers, Skilled Nursing Facilities
· CRM experience is a plus
Minimum Education/Certifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience:
· 2-4 years Account Management / Recruiting/Operations/ Sales
· 1-2 years staffing experience
Preferred Experience
· 2-3 years healthcare staffing a plus
Salary includes base plus monthly commission plan
